The Archives may be searched in several ways.

TITLES looks only at the text of the title.

... AND TAGS includes keywords and similar tags that have been added.

... AND TEXT includes the full text of all articles.  All texts have been OCR'd (rather than hand-typed), so full-text searches may be a little less than perfect, particularly for non-English or IPA text.

A squence of words (like creaky tone) will only match if that exact string is found.  To build a Google-like search, use the or operator: creaky or tone

Searches may follow the usual restrictions (see match, below), and &, |, ~, ! searches - equivalent to and, or, near, and not - may be used.
